Vollmer's opera RUMMELPLATZ was honored with an OPER! Award on February 23, 2026. RUMMELPLATZ premiered on September 20, 2025, at the Chemnitz Theater as part of Chemnitz's year as European Capital of Culture and was enthusiastically received by audiences and the international press. All performances are sold out until June 2026, despite repeated attempts to add additional performances. Further information can be found here.
