FRÜHLINGS ERWACHEN (SPRING AWAKENING), the singspiel based on Frank Wedekind, will celebrate its world premiere on June 19, 2025 at the Hamburg State Opera, Kampnagel k6 venue. The tragedy is about the taboo surrounding sexuality in childhood and adolescence and its consequences. In addition to ensemble members of the State Opera and the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra, the legendary Hamburg youth choir Young ClassX and the Mendelssohn Youth Orchestra will perform.
