The Concerto Grosso, with its festive, playful, and colorful character, is a joyful exploration of the great genre of the concerto from the Renaissance to rock concerts. Developed specifically for the needs and requirements of the Halle Medical Faculty Orchestra, it is a multi-movement, spirited composition with a lively energy, whose melodic and rhythmic techniques are inspired by non-European and very old European musical cultures.
